First joined the Lions Family in January, 1973, in the Bloomfield Lions Club.


While a member of the Bloomfield Lions Club, my accomplishment’s are as follows:
          1973-1974 Tail Twister of the Club
          1974-1975 Secretary of the Club
          1975-1976 Treasurer of the Club
          1976-1977 President of the Bloomfield Lions Club
And the perfect attendance award for Nine Years.


In the 1980’s I left the Lions organization,  for personal and family reasons.


But in November, 1996 I rejoined the Lions Club as a member of the East Windsor Lions Club.


My accomplishment’s for the East Windsor Lions Club, are as follows:
           1997-1998 I Co-Chaired the committee for the Auction
           1997-1998 I was elected as Lion Tamer
                 2002    I was named Lion of the Year, by the E.W. Lions Club
           2002-2003 I was elected as 1st. Vice-President
           2003-2004 I was elected as 1st  Vice-President
           2004-2005 I was elected as President of the E.W. Lions Club
           2005-Present – Elected as Membership Chairman
           2005-2006  Appointed as Zone 10 Chairman
           2006-2007  Appointed as Chaplain ( Hartford County )
           2007-2008  Appointed as Zone 8 Chairman
           2008-2009  Appointed as Zone 8 Chairman
                 2008     Received Melvin Jones Award
 And the perfect attendance award for Twelve Years
                 2008    Chairman of the East Windsor Lions annual Turkey Shoot, a most successful event.

Recent Updates

Cabinet Meeting

Our first District Cabinet Meeting will be held on Monday, August 2, 2010 at The Gallery, 141 New London Turnpike, Glastonbury. We will convene at 6:30 p.m. and a buffet dinner will be served at 7:00 p.m.  The cost is $20.00.
