Hartford Host Lions Club Dedicates the new Lions Den at the Oak Hill School in Hartford
L-R DG David Yadach, Lion President Andrew Stern and Patrick Johnson (President Oak Hill)
The Hartford Host Lions Club, chartered in 1922, has for many years contributed to Oak Hill's Programs for disabled individuals. During the past year the school has refurbished a conference room, and named it the Lions Den. Displayed in the room are the many awards received over the years, the original club charter, the original banner and the many flags traded over the past 87 years. On October 15, 2009, the Club held its first function in the room. The luncheon was attended by the members, spouses and the District Governor.
