Hello, I am the new District 23B Leo Chairperson. I am a member and Past President of the Terryville Lions Club. I have held many positions within my club in my 8 ½ years as a member and now am delighted to be serving on the Cabinet for the first time.

For those who do not know what a Leo is, they are basically what I like to refer to as Junior Lions.  Lions Clubs sponsor more than 5,600 Leo Clubs in 133 countries. While helping others in their community, Leos develop leadership skills and experience teamwork in action. The acronym LEO stands for Leadership, Experience, and Opportunity. The first Leo Club was formed in 1957 and community service remains the cornerstone of the program. Like their Lion counterparts, Leo Club members enjoy serving their neighbors and watching positive results unfold.

If your club is interested in sponsoring a Leo Club I would be more than happy to speak to you about the opportunities that exist.
