    Leo Registration Form

    Leo Program Agenda

Dear Leo Presidents, Secretaries, Advisors, and Liasons:

The 59th ANNUAL MD23 LIONS MID-WINTER CONFERENCE will be held at The Crowne Plaza Hotel, 1284 Strongtown Road, Southbury, Connecticut (Exit 16 off Route 84), February 5th through February 7th.  We have planned an exciting Leo Program for Saturday, February 6, 2010.  Registration will begin at 8:45 a.m. (when you can also do the Picture Scavenger Hunt) with scheduled activities to start at 9:30 a.m. and end at approximately 2:30 p.m.  The charge for registration is $15.00 for each Leo and/or Advisor attending which will include breakfast snacks, the seminar and lunch.

Please discuss attending with the members of your Leo Club.  Enclosed is a registration form for the Leo Day at the Mid-Winter Conference.  Please photocopy as needed.  Once the registration forms are filled out, please return them along with your checks payable to "2010 MD23 Mid-Winter Conference" to Lion Diana Grisé at 2 Autumn Ridge Drive, Windham, CT  06280 no later than January 15, 2010.

We will have space for exhibits so if your club has a scrapbook and/or a poster board (etc.), please bring them because we would all like to see any pictures, articles, etc. of what you have done, are doing or are planning to do.

This year we are going to do a statewide drive.  We are asking you to bring any Beanie Babies, Barbie dolls and/or match box cars (new or gently used) that you can collect to the conference for a program that will give the toys to children in Haiti through the Haitian Health Foundation.  A prize will be given to the Leo Club that collects the most - so start now!  Your club will be responsible to bring the toys to the conference and give us a count of what was collected.

We look forward to a great turnout of Leos at the Mid-Winter Conference.  You will really enjoy interacting with Leos and Lions from all over the state.  If you have any questions or require additional information, please contact Lion Diana at (860) 456-1980,  diana.grise@snet.net or myself.

                                                                            Yours in Lionism,

                                                                            Lion Linda Konopaske
